Heat Down Timberwolves

     The Miami Heat came off the holiday break with a 113-110 win over the Minnesota Timberwolves on Monday night at FTX Arena. The Heat finish off a four-game homestand as they host LeBron James and the Los Angeles Lakers on Wednesday. 
     Miami(17-17) had a 33-31 advantage at the end of the first quarter. The Heat maintained their lead and were ahead 59-56 at halftime. Minnesota(16-18) gave up a 13-7 spurt to begin the second half and trailed 93-86 after three quarters. 
     Max Strus had a team-high 19 points for Miami. Kyle Lowry fell short of a double-double with 18 points and nine assists. Orlando Robinson contributed 15 points along with nine rebounds. Duncan Robinson became the fastest in NBA history to reach 800 career three-point shots made. Anthony Edwards scored a game-high 29 points with seven assists for the Timberwolves.
