Panthers Roll By Blue Jackets

     The Florida Panthers picked up a 4-0 shutout victory over the Columbus Blue Jackets on Tuesday night at FLA Live Arena. Sergei Bobrovsky collected his first shutout of the season and 38th shutout of his NHL career. The Panthers now have an 8-3-3 record at home this season. 
     In the first period, Florida(14-12-4) skated out to a 1-0 lead at the 9:04 mark. Sam Reinhart backhanded the puck from the right wing and Gustav Forsling sent a pass from near the right point. Brandon Montour smashed a slap shot from the top left circle for his sixth goal of the year. 
     The Panthers made it 2-0 at 3:47 of the second period. Matthew Tkachuk scored his 14th goal of the season on assists from Reinhart and Aleksander Barkov. 
     It became 3-0 for the Cats with 44 seconds remaining in the second as Barkov got his sixth tally this season. Forsling and Tkachuk both compiled their second points of the contest. 
     Columbus(10-16-2) surrendered another goal and trailed 4-0. Reinhart put in an empty-net goal with 1:46 left in the third period for his eighth goal this year.
