The ratings came out for sports talk radio stations in Miami/Fort Lauderdale. The time span went from the second week of November until the first week of December.
AM 560 Sports WQAM-AM decreased from a 1.1 to a 0.7 in the month. The Miami Dolphins had a 8-4 record and were in contention for a playoff spot. The University of Miami Hurricanes football team completed their season with a 5-7 record and did not qualify for a bowl game. The Miami Heat and the Florida Panthers barely had average starts a couple of months into the 2022-23 season.
Fox Sports 940 WINZ-AM dropped the second straight month from a 0.3 to a 0.2. The station lost half of their audience in a matter of two months. The University of Florida Gators finished the regular season with a 6-6 record and ended up tied for fourth in the SEC East Division.
WQAM streaming remained at a 0.3 in the period. WKIS-FM-HD2 went from a 0.1 to 0.2 as they had Florida Panthers broadcasts when the Miami Heat played at the same time.
