Heat Drive By Clippers

     The Miami Heat outlasted the Los Angeles Clippers 115-110 on Thursday night at FTX Arena. The Heat continued their short three-game homestand. 
     Los Angeles(14-13) had a 12-4 spurt at the end of the first quarter to lead 28-20. Miami(12-14) went on a 19-9 run at the start of the second quarter and had a 56-54 lead at halftime. Both teams stayed close to each other as the Clippers had an 87-84 advantage after three quarters. The Heat pulled off a 16-8 spurt midday through the fourth quarter to get the victory.
     Bam Adebayo compiled a double-double with game-highs of 31 points and 10 rebounds for Miami.  Jimmy Butler added 26 points and eight assists. Tyler Herro fell short of a double-double with 19 points along with nine rebounds. 
     Paul George led the Clippers with 29 points, eight rebounds and seven assists. Reggie Jackson was able to contribute 20 points in the loss.
