Panthers Ease By Devils

     The Florida Panthers toppled the New Jersey Devils 4-2 at Prudential Center on Saturday night. The Panthers will play their next game in Boston against the Bruins on Monday.
     Florida(15-13-4) moved out to a 1-0 lead on a power-play goal at the 8:54 mark. Sam Reinhart collected his 10th goal this season. Aleksander Barkov and Aaron Ekblad were credited with assists on the play. 
     In the second period, the Panthers make it 2-0 at 7:49. Gustav Forsling put in his fifth goal of the year on assists from Zac Dalpe an Aleksi Heponiemi. 
     New Jersey(21-8-2) broke the shutout with 8:33 left in the second and trailed 2-1. John Marino placed in his third goal of the campaign. 
     It became 3-1 for the Cats with 41 seconds to go in the period. Reinhart got his second tally of the contest and 11th goal of the season. 
     The Devils cut it to 3-2 with 3:30 to go in the third period as Erik Haula found the net for the just the second time of the year. Carter Verhaeghe picked up his 16th goal this season and made it a two-goal margin again for Florida with 1:11 remaining in the third.
