Clippers Sail By Heat

     The Los Angeles Clippers handled the Miami Heat 112-109 on Thursday night. It was a rare occasion for the Heat that they played consecutive nights at Staples Center on a road trip. They have now lost the first three contests of their five-game road trip. The Clippers have won six consecutive games. 
     Miami(7-5) ripped out to a 40-25 lead at the end of the first quarter. The Heat stayed in front 58-56 at halftime. Los Angeles(7-4) overtook them in the second half and were up 86-78 at the end of three quarters. The Heat closed it to 108-107 with 40.7 seconds remaining in the fourth. 
     The Heat were led by Bam Adebayo with 30 points along with 11 rebounds. Tyler Herro was able to pump in 23 points and Kyle Lowry contributed a season-high 25 points. 
     Paul George had a team-high 27 points for the Clippers. Ivica Zubac picked up a double-double with 18 points and 11 rebounds. Eric Bledsoe added 23 points while Reggie Jackson scored 22 points.
