Lightning Strike Panthers

     The Tampa Bay Lightning pulled off a 3-2 overtime victory over the Florida Panthers at Amalie Arena on Saturday night. The Panthers were winless during their four-game road trip with a 0-2-2 record. The Lightning increased their point streak to seven games. 
     Tampa Bay(7-3-3) moved out to a 1-0 lead with 7:43 left in the first period. Pat Maroon was able to score a power-play goal. 
     It became 2-0 for the Lightning at the 9:02 mark of the second period. Victor Hedman blasted in a shot for his second tally of the year. 
     Florida(10-2-3) climbed back to tie it 2-2 later in the second. Jonathan Huberdeau compiled his fourth goal of the season on assists from Aleksander Barkov and Lucas Carlsson with 7:01 to go. 
     Eetu Luostarinen added his fifth goal of the campaign 36 seconds later. Aaron Ekblad and Ryan Lomberg were credited with assists on the play. 
     The Bolts picked up the victory at 2:13 into overtime. Brayden Point got his fifth goal this season on an assist by Ondrej Palat.
