Park Vista Stops Palm Beach Gardens

The Park Vista Cobras edged the Palm Beach Gardens Gators 17-10 on Friday night in Lake Worth. Both schools have been known to be consistent postseason contending teams over the past 14 years.
The Cobras got on the scoreboard early during the first quarter. They were able to recover a fumble and returned it for a score.
Palm Beach Gardens(6-4) tied it up 7-7 with 2:36 remaining in the first. Quarterback Brand Campbell fired a 28-yard touchdown pass to wide receiver Naivyan Cargill just in front of the left side of the end zone.
It would become 10-7 for Park Vista(7-3) near the end of the second quarter. They got a field goal to regain the lead.
The Cobras made a goal-line stand within four minutes of the third quarter. Park Vista marched down the field on a 99-yard drive and expanded it to a 10-point margin. Quarterback Brock Hansel plunged up the middle from one yard away.
The Gators made a last-ditch attempt to stay in the contest. Palm Beach Gardens booted a 29-yard field goal with 1:51 left in the fourth quarter and trailed 17-10.
