Inter Miami CF Wins Season Finale

     Inter Miami CF were victorious in their season finale as they topped the New England Revolution 1-0 at Gillette Stadium on Sunday. Inter Miami CF completed their second regular season in Major League Soccer. Unlike last year, Inter Miami CF will not be involved in the MLS Playoffs. 

     The New England Revolution ended up with the best record in Major League Soccer. They had a league-record 73 points and received the Supporters' Shield after the game for the first time in their 26-year franchise history. 

     There was only one score in the contest by Inter Miami CF during the 58th minute. Blaise Matuidi made a turnaround left-footed shot from 11 yards away for his first goal of the year.
