Nuggets Chip At Heat

     The Denver Nuggets handled the Miami Heat 113-96 at Ball Arena on Monday night. It was the beginning of a five-game road trip for the Heat against the Western Conference teams. 
     Miami(7-3) started ahead 30-25 at the end of the first quarter. Denver(6-4) overtook them and led 64-49 at halftime. The Nuggets kept the double-digit lead and stayed ahead 91-70 after three quarters. The Heat cut it down to 13 points with 4:04 left in the final quarter. 
     Jimmy Butler led Miami as he put together 31 points and eight assists. Bam Adebayo had a double-double of 10 points along with 10 rebounds and Duncan Robinson dropped in 13 points. 
     Nikola Jokic compiled a triple-double with 25 points, 15 rebounds and 10 assists for Denver. Will Barton pumped in 25 points while Jeff Green added 13 points.
