University of Miami Releases Blake James

     The University of Miami has let go athletic director Blake James. The Hurricanes lost a college football contest against their state rival Florida State 31-28 on Saturday. 

     James joined the University of Miami in 2004 and held the post of senior associate athletic director for development and ticket operations. He was promoted to the athletic director position in 2013.
