Miami Marlins Add To Coaching Staff

     The Miami Marlins have added more people to their coaching staff for the 2022 season. Marcus Thames has been named hitting coach while Al Pedrique becomes their third base coach/infield coach. 

     Edwar Gonzalez was promoted from minor league hitting coordinator to assistant hitting coach. Eric Duncan was shifted for hitting coach to quality assurance coach. 

     Thames has spent the last four seasons with the New York Yankees as their hitting coach. Pedrique was the manager of the Marlins Triple-A affiliate in Jacksonville last season.
