Former Florida Panthers right wing and captain Scott Mellanby has resigned his assistant general manager position with the Montreal Canadiens. He held that post for the past eight years and been a part of that organization for 10 years.
Mellanby played for the Florida Panthers during the first eight seasons in their franchise history. He compiled 157 goals and 197 assists in 552 games with the Panthers.
