2020-21 NHL Season Set

     The 2020-21 National Hockey League season has been set. There is a agreement between the NHL and National Hockey League Players Association. The regular season will start on January 13 and conclude on May 8. Each NHL club will play 56 games during the 2020-21 regular season. 
     The four divisions will be realigned and look different for the upcoming campaign. The NHL will revert back to the original four division alignment of Atlantic, Metropolitan, Central and Pacific for the 2021-22 season. 
     The Florida Panthers will be placed in the Central Division. Other teams are the Tampa Bay Lightning, Carolina Hurricanes, Nashville Predators, Chicago Blackhawks, Dallas Stars, Detroit Red Wings, Columbus Blue Jackets. The top four teams in the division will reach the NHL postseason. 
     Florida will play all 56 regular season games only in their division in 2020-21. The Panthers will host four games against every team in visit each team for four contests. 
     There are three other divisions for the 2020-21 season. The North Division will have all seven clubs based in Canada. The East Division consists eight teams form the northeastern United States. The West Division has eight clubs from western United States and off the Mississippi River.
