Early National Signing Day Dade County

     Dade County high school football players selected where they will go and participate in college football. Many of them have won a FHSAA state championship. 
     Some top players decided to stay local and play for the University of Miami. Miami Northwestern had several with wide receiver Romello Brinson, tight end Kahlil Brantley and defensive back Kamren Kinchens. Other profile players heading for the Hurricanes were Miami Palmetto wide receiver Brashard Smith, Miami Palmetto defensive tackle Leonard Taylor, Columbus offensive lineman Ryan Rodriguez. Champagnat Catholic kicker Andres Borregales, Miami Central offensive lineman Lawrence Seymore and Miami Killian linebacker Tyler Johnson.
     Miami Central wide receiver Yulkeith Brown and running back Amari Daniels will both be going to Texas A&M while their teammate defensive back Travis McNichols Jr. is heading for Appalachian State. 
     A number of players will be going elsewhere. They include Miami Northwestern linebacker Patrick Payton(Florida State), Champagnat Catholic wide receiver Malik Rutherford(Georgia Tech), Miami Northwestern running back Zuberi Mobley, Columbus defensive back Branden Coleman, Miami Northwestern linebacker Ja'Corey Hammett, Miami Palmetto defensive back Derrick Edwards(Louisville), Booker T. Washington defensive back Rance Connor Jr.(Louisville), North Miami tight end Chamon Metayer(Cincinnati) and Champagnat Catholic linebacker Deondrick Spreight(Connecticut). 
     FIU picked up some players from Dade County in Miami Northwestern linebacker A'mahri McCray, Miami Carol City running back Katravis Geter, Miami Springs defensive back Demetrius Hill and North Miami defensive back D'mor Jean-Baptiste. 
     UAB got two defensive backs from Miami Northwestern which are Tim Burns Jr. and Antwan Massie while Gulliver Prep defensive back Gabe Nealy selected South Florida.
