Heat Breeze By 76ers

     The Miami Heat knocked off the Philadelphia 76ers 99-82 at FTX Arena on Saturday night. It was the first contest for the Heat in a seven-game homestand. 
     The Heat extended their lead in the Eastern Conference standings. Miami is in first place while the Sixers are three games behind in second place.      
     Miami(43-22) stomped out to a 22-14 lead after one quarter and were ahead 54-40 by halftime. Philadelphia(39-24) bounced back and trailed 73-68 after three quarters. The Heat responded with 24-12 run to begin the fourth quarter. 
     Jimmy Butler and Tyler Herro both had 21 points each for the Heat. Gabe Vincent scored 16 points and Caleb Martin drained in 14 points. 
     Joel Embiid led the Sixers with game highs of 22 points and 15 rebounds for a double-double. Tyrese Maxey added 17 points and Tobias Harris contributed 16 points along with eight rebounds.
