Warriors Cool Down Heat

     The Golden State Warriors got by the Miami Heat 118-104 on Wednesday night at FTX Arena. It was the first of four straight home contests for Miami. 
     Golden State snapped a three-game losing streak. The Heat stand in first place among Eastern Conference teams while the Warriors remain third in the Western Conference. 
     Miami(47-26) scored 13 straight points midway into the first quarter, however Golden State(48-25) placed the final 11 points in the frame to tie it up 23-23. Both clubs battled it out during the second quarter and were tied 50-50 at halftime. 
     The Warriors began the second half with 19 consecutive points. The Heat answered back with a 30-12 run and trailed 81-80 after three quarters. Golden State outpaced Miami in the fourth quarter. 
     Jimmy Butler, who had 10 points in the first quarter, ended up with 20 points for the Heat. Kyle Lowry added 25 points and Duncan Robinson dropped in 13 points. Bam Adebayo compiled 25 points along with nine rebounds and fell short of a double-double. 
     Stephen Curry was unavailable to play for the Warriors. Jordan Poole led Golden State with a game-high 30 points. Jonathan Kuminga scored 22 points, Andrew Wiggins drained in 22 points and Damion Lee powered in a season-high 22 points.
