Timberwolves Outpace Heat

     The Minnesota Timberwolves pulled off a 113-104 victory over the Miami Heat on Saturday night at FTX Arena. The Heat have two contests left in their seven-game homestand. Miami will now play just three games in the next 10 days. 
     Minnesota(39-30) sprinted with a 20-10 spurt and led 30-25 after one quarter. Miami(45-24) went on a 38-13 run during the second quarter and were up 67-55 by halftime. The Timberwolves outscored the Heat 34-19 in the third quarter and moved ahead 89-86. The T-Wolves had a 13-4 spurt in the final five minutes of the fourth quarter. 
     Tyler Herro had a game-high 30 points along with seven rebounds for Miami. Bam Adebayo compiled a double-double with 19 points and 12 rebounds. Kyle Lowry put together 14 points, seven assists and seven rebounds. Max Strus came off the bench and drained in 19 points. 
     All five Minnesota starters and three reserve players put up double-figures in scoring. Karl-Anthony Towns chalked up 15 points and 10 rebounds for a double-double.
