James White Staying With Patriots

     Former local high school running back James White has re-signed with the New England Patriots. It is a two-year contract worth $5 million. 
     He has been with the Patriots for the past eight seasons and won three Super Bowl titles. White is best remembered of scoring the first Super Bowl overtime touchdown in Super Bowl LI. 
     White played with the St. Thomas Aquinas from 2006 to 2009 and won two FHSAA Class 5A state championships in 2007 and 2008. The school also captured a national championship in 2008. He later attended the University of Wisconsin for four years.
