Heat Defeat Celtics

     Two of the top three clubs in the Eastern Conference faced each other on Wednesday night as the Miami Heat beat the Boston Celtics 106-98 at TD Garden on Wednesday night. The Heat, who began a three-game road swing, have won two straight contests. Miami stayed first in the Eastern Conference while the Celtics are now tied for third place. 
     Jaylen Brown scored for first 11 points for Boston(47-30) and they led 29-25 after one quarter. Miami(49-28) went on an 11-3 spurt at the end of the second  quarter and were ahead 53-52 at halftime. 
     The Celtics were behind by 11 points and then scored 16 consecutive points at the midway point of the third quarter to take the lead 74-69. The C's had a 83-79 lead at the end of the frame. The Heat went on a 13-5 run to finish off the fourth quarter. 
     Kyle Lowry had 23 points and eight assists while Jimmy Butler added 23 points for Miami. Bam Adebayo compiled a double-double of 17 points, 12 rebounds and eight assists. Max Strus was in the starting lineup and drained in 14 points. 
     Brown put together a double-double with 28 points, 10 rebounds and six assists for the Celtics. Jayson Tatum scored 23 points and Daniel Theis had 15 points.
