Bleier signed a two-year extension with Miami worth $6 million. He was acquired by the Marlins in August 2020 and helped them reach the postseason for the first time since 2003. Bleier has made 87 relief appearances in the last two seasons with the Fish.
Dayton agreed to a minor league contract with the Marlins. He spent the last three seasons with the Atlanta Braves and pitched 13 games last year with the eventual World Series champions. He appeared with the Los Angeles Dodgers in 2016 and 2017.
