Miami kept it competitive in the first half and were up 35-29 at halftime. Kansas was dominant in the second half as they outscored the Hurricanes 47-15. Kameron McGusty led the Canes with 18 points and Anthony Walker added five rebounds.

Hurricanes Eliminated By Kansas
The University of Miami Hurricanes were eliminated from the 2022 NCAA Men's Basketball Tournament as they lost to the Kansas University Jayhawks 76-50 in the Midwest Region final on Sunday at United Center in Chicago. It ends possibly the best season in Miami Hurricanes men's basketball history as the Canes reached the Elite Eight for the first time.
