Former local sportscaster Jon "Boog" Sciambi is the new play-by-play announcer for the MLB The Show video game in 2022. He ends up replacing Matt Vasgersian.
Sciambi worked as part of the Florida Marlins radio broadcasting crew from 1997 until 2004. He begins his second season as the television play-by-play voice of the Chicago Cubs on Marquee Sports Network. He continues as the play-by-play announcer on Sunday Night Baseball at ESPN Radio with Chris Singleton, who is the game analyst on MLB The Show.
