Ereck Flowers Released By Washington

     The Washington Commanders have cut offensive lineman Ereck Flowers. He started and played 16 games for Washington last season. 
     Flowers did play14 games with the Miami Dolphins during 2020. He was traded to Washington in April 2021. 
     He was selected ninth overall by the New York Giants in the 2015 NFL Draft and stayed there for four seasons. Flowers was with the Jacksonville Jaguars in 2018 and Washington in 2019. 
     Flowers played his senior year of high school football with the Miami Norland Vikings and helped them to capture the 2011 FHSAA Class 5A state championship. He followed that with three seasons with the University of Miami Hurricanes.
