Florida Panthers Trade Frank Vatrano

The Florida Panthers have traded center Frank Vatrano to the New York Rangers for a conditional 2022 fourth-round pick. Vatrano scored two goals, which included the game-winning overtime tally, against the San Jose Sharks last night.
Vatrano has played the last five seasons with the Panthers. He had 73 goals and 53 assists in 271 regular season contests. He helped the club reach the postseason in consecutive years, in 2019-20 and 2020-21, for the first time since 1995-96 and 1996-97.
He was acquired from the Boston Bruins in February 2018. His best season with Florida was in 2018-19 as he compiled 24 goals and 15 assists in 81 games. Vatrano had 10 goals and nine assists in 49 games this season.
