Brandon Linder Retires

     Former St. Thomas Aquinas offensive lineman Brandon Linder has retired from the National Football League. He was selected by the Jacksonville Jaguars in the third round of the 2014 NFL Draft. Linder started in 88 games with the Jaguars during his eight-year NFL career.
     Linder played varsity football with the St. Thomas Aquinas Raiders from 2007 to 2009. He contributed to the school winning consecutive FHSAA Class 5A state titles in 2007 and 2008. STA was also named national champions in 2008. The Raiders had a 42-2 record with him in the lineup. 
     He stayed local and went on to attend the University of Miami. Linder participated in 40 games with the Hurricanes from 2010 until 2013.
