Inter Miami CF was blanked by Los Angeles Football Club 2-0 at DRV PNK Stadium in Fort Lauderdale on Saturday. Both teams had only met only once during the regular season in Major League Soccer. Inter Miami CF played their franchise opener in March 2020 at Los Angeles and lost to LAFC 2-0.
It became 1-0 for LAFC during the 45th minute when Kwadwo Opoku blasted a left-footed shot from seven yards away. Inter Miami CF surrendered another goal in the 82nd minute as Ismael Tajouri-Shradi fired a 25-yard direct kick from the right sideline.
