The Chicago Bulls snapped the Heat's 27-game winning streak back on March 27, but Miami avenged that with a 105-93 win on Sunday at American Airlines Arena. The Heat climbed to 36-4 at home this season.
Miami(64-16) began the game on a 23-11 spurt and were up 30-22 after one quarter. The Heat stretched their margin up to 15 points at 46-31, however Chicago(43-27) finished the second quarter on a 23-10 rally and were behind 56-54 at halftime.
The Bulls let the deficit get to double figures again in the third quarter and were down 86-77 at the end of the period. The Heat had more than a seven-point lead for the entire final quarter.
The Heat got 24 points, seven rebounds and six assists from LeBron James. Chris Bosh missed on a double-double with 12 points and nine rebounds in 31 minutes. Dwyane Wade added 22 points in 37 minutes while Mario Chalmers had 15 points and five assists. Chris Andersen came off the bench with 15 points and seven rebounds.
Carlos Boozer had 16 points and 20 rebounds in 39 minutes for the Bulls. Luol Deng knocked down 19 points in 35 minutes. Kirk Hinrich and Nate Robinson both added 14 points each.
