The Miami Marlins stopped their six-game losing streak on a walk-off hit by Chris Coghlan in the ninth inning as they won 2-1 over the Philadelphia Phillies on Saturday night at Marlins Park. It was the first win at home for the Marlins this season after five tries.

Philadelphia(5-6) got to A.J. Ramos in the seventh inning to tie the game at 1-1. Domonic Brown led off with a single to center and Freddy Galvis walked two batters later. Erik Kratz grounded into a fielder's choice as Brown scored on the play.
The Fish picked up an additional run in the bottom of the ninth off Phillippe Aumont to win the game. Placido Polanco started with a walk then advanced to third on a single by Greg Dobbs into right field. After Austin Kearns struck out, Coghlan reached base on an infield hit to second as Chase Utley tried to throw out Polanco at home plate.
Fernandez made his second major league career start for Miami as he pitched six innings of shutout ball, struck out five and gave up two hits. Hamels went six innings for the Phils and allowed one run on three hits. Marlins reliever Steve Cishek moved to 1-1 as he hurled the final inning.
