The Miami Heat are one step closer to a sweep in the first round and they defeated the Milwaukee Bucks 104-91 at BMO Harris Bradley Center on Thursday night. The Heat now lead the series 3-0 and hope to wrap it up on Sunday.
Milwaukee was able to get up by nine points and led after one quarter 30-21. The Heat picked up an 8-2 spurt at the end of the second quarter and were down 50-48.
Miami laid out a 23-7 run at the end of the third quarter and led by double digits 78-68 as both teams entered the final quarter. The Heat poured it on with a 12-5 edge at the beginning of the fourth quarter and led 90-73 with 8:37 remaining.
LeBron James landed 22 points with six assists in 33 minutes for the Heat. Chris Bosh compiled a double-double with 16 points and 14 rebounds in 34 minutes of play. Dwyane Wade had four points with 11 assists, nine rebounds and five steals in 36 minutes. Ray Allen, who set an NBA playoff record with the most career three-point shots made, contributed 23 points in 30 minutes against his former team.
Larry Sanders led the Bucks with a double-double of 16 points and 11 rebounds in 35 minutes. Brandon Jennings got 16 points, eight assists and five steals in 36 minutes. Ersan Ilyasova added 15 points and eight rebounds in 33 minutes.
