Former South Florida sports writer Alex Marvez was a commentator and pregame play-by-play announcer at the All Elite Wrestling Fight For The Fallen show in Jacksonville on Saturday. He was the analyst for the AEW Double Or Nothing pay-per-view back on May 25 in Las Vegas and Fyter Fest in Daytona Beach on June 29.
Marvez was previously known as a sports writer for the Miami Herald during the 1990s and a Miami Dolphins beat reporter for the South Florida Sun-Sentinel in the 2000s. He also contributed a weekly pro wrestling column in the newspaper. He later became an NFL writer for Fox Sports.com and The Sporting News. Marvez is currently an evening co-host on SiriusXM Radio NFL Radio.
