Center Matt Cullen announced his retirement from the National Hockey League after 21 seasons. He captured three Stanley Cup titles while in the NHL He got one with the Carolina Hurricanes in 2005-06 and two with the Pittsburgh Penguins in 2015-16 and 2016-17.
Cullen was with the Florida Panthers for two seasons prior to the NHL lockout which occurred in 2004-05. He compiled 12 goals and 19 assists in 86 games with the club.
