Former University of Miami Hurricanes center Brett Romberg has exited from Sports Talk 790 The Ticket WAXY-AM. He was the morning co-host with Jonathan Zaslow and Amber Wilson until last week.
Romberg was a guest co-host and contributor on the morning program with Zaslow and Joy Taylor when he started at that station in the middle of 2015. He was promoted to permanent morning co-host in early 2016.
He played four years with the University of Miami football team. The Canes won the 2001 BCS National Championship over Nebraska in the Rose Bowl. Romberg won the Dave Rimington Trophy in 2002 as the best center in college football.
