The Miami Heat continued to turn over their roster on Monday. They traded center Hassan Whitehead to the Portland Trail Blazers for Maurice Harkless and Meyers Leonard. Harkless was then shipped to the Los Angeles Clippers along with a future Miami Heat first-round draft selection, which was part of a four-team deal.
Whitehead played with the Miami Heat for the last five seasons. He participated in 324 games with the club and averaged 14.1 points and 11.9 rebounds per game. Whitehead was with the Sacramento Kings for two seasons prior to arriving in Miami.
