The Florida Panthers signed center Brett Connolly to a four-year, $13 million deal. The veteran player has been in the National Hockey League for eight seasons.
Connolly recently was with the Washington Capitals for four seasons. He helped the Caps win their first Stanley Cup title in franchise history with a five-game series victory over the Vegas Golden Knights in 2018.
He comes off his best season in the NHL. Connolly had a career-high 22 goals and 24 assists for 46 points in 81 games.
