The Florida Panthers and Fox Sports Florida have named Randy Moller as the new game analyst for Panthers television broadcasts on Tuesday. He replaces Denis Potvin who retired on Monday after two stints with the team totaling 21 seasons.
Moller began as a radio game analyst with the Panthers alongside play-by-play announcer Chris Moore in 1996-97 when he replaced Alain Chevrier. He later worked with Jiggs McDonald and Steve Goldstein in the broadcast booth.
He was elevated to Florida Panthers radio play-by-play announcer for the 2007-08 season. He held the post for eight seasons until the end of 2014-15. Moller moved to the television broadcasts prior to the 2015-16 season as a sideline reporter and a studio analyst.
