Class 4M resulted in Columbus knocking off Plant 27-7. Monarch fell short of the title game as they fell to Mandarin 51-21. Columbus will take on Mandarin next Friday afternoon.
St. Thomas Aquinas punished Gaither 50-14 and Homestead got by Jones 42-35 in Class 3M. Both teams will face each other in a championship rematch from last year. next Saturday afternoon.
In Class 2M, Miami Norland easily handled Bolles 28-7 while American Heritage was upset by Berkeley Prep 17-14. Miami Norland will challenge Berkeley Prep for the title next Saturday morning.
Chaminade-Madonna was able to rout Archbishop Carroll 47-7 in Class 1M. They will play Clearwater Central Catholic for the state championship next Thursday morning.
