Bulls Rush By Heat

     The Chicago Bulls got a 124-116 victory over the Miami Heat on Thursday night at Kaseya Center. It was the first of two games played at the same venue by both teams over the next three days. They will face each other again on Saturday. 
     Chicago(10-16) rocketed with a 33-8 run at the start of the contest and they had a 36-22 advantage after one quarter. The Bulls had a 17-10 spurt in the beginning of the second quarter. Miami(14-11) pulled off a 26-7 run and were down 60-56 at halftime. Chicago had a 93-88 lead at the end of the third quarter. The Heat could not take the lead in the final quarter. 
     Jaime Jaquez Jr. came off the Miami bench with a club-high 22 points. Kyle Lowry dropped in 17 points while Jimmy Butler scored 20 points. Caleb Martin had a double-double of 17 points and 11 rebounds. Nikola Vucevic compiled a double-double with 24 points, 12 rebounds and seven assists for the Bulls.
