Kraken Sink Panthers

The Seattle Kraken took the Florida Panthers 4-0 at Climate Pledge Arena on Tuesday night. The Panthers, who had their three-game winning streak stopped, continued their five-game road swing. It was the first NHL shutout for Kraken goalie Joey Daccord.
Neither club got on the scoreboard during the first frame. Seattle(7-14-7) scooted out to a 1-0 lead at the 3:10 mark of the second period. Kailer Yamamoto placed in a wrist shot for his fourth goal this season.
It became 2-0 for the Kraken at 5:59 of the third period. Pierre-Edouard Bellemare snapped a shot past Sergei Bobrovsky for his third tally of the campaign.
Florida(17-9-2) surrendered another goal at the 9:13 mark and were down 3-0. Former Panthers Alex Wennberg collected his fourth goal of the season on a snap shot.
Seattle made it a four-goal margin with 3:51 left in the third. Eeli Tolvanen put the puck into an empty net for his seventh goal of the year.
