Heat Topple 76ers

     The Miami Heat got by the Philadelphia 76ers 119-113 at Kaseya Center on Monday night. The Heat played on Christmas Day for the first time since 2020 and the second time since 2015. They are 9-0 on Christmas Day with Erik Spoelstra as their head coach. 
     Miami(18-12) had a 26-22 advantage at the end of one quarter. They were able to extend it to 63-49 by halftime. 
     Philadelphia(20-9) got some momentum at the start of the second half and were tied with the Heat 86-86 at the end of the third quarter. Miami went on an 18-7 spurt in the final six minutes of the final quarter. 
    Jaime Jaquez Jr. led Miami as he dropped in a career-high 31 points and grabbed 10 rebounds for a double-double. Tyler Herro added 22 points and Duncan Robinson had 16 points. Bam Adebayo contributed a double-double with 26 points and 15 rebounds. 
     Tobias Harris ended up with a club-high 27 points for the Sixers. Kelly Oubre Jr. chalked up 22 points along with seven rebounds. Mo Bamba came off the bench with 18 points.
