Heat Shake Warriors

     The Miami Heat defeated the Golden State Warriors 114-102 at Chase Center on Thursday night. The Heat, who began a five-game road trip against Western Conference opponents, won their first game in San Francisco since 2020.  
     The Warriors started a seven-game homestand. They had their eight-game home winning streak snapped. Miami won in the Bay Area for the 14th time in 23 occasions. 
     Golden State(15-16) jumped out to a 25-22 lead at the end of the first quarter. Miami(19-12) had a 21-9 spurt to begin the second quarter and led 58-51 at halftime.  
     The Heat expanded their lead to 91-76 at the conclusion of the third quarter. Miami held at least a 15-point lead for the majority of the final quarter. 
     Tyler Herro composed 26 points and seven rebounds for the Heat. Bam Adebayo compiled a double-double of 17 points and 11 rebounds. Jamal Cain came off the bench and tied a career-high of 18 points. Jaime Jacquez Jr. was able to drop in 17 points. 
     Stephen Curry led the Warriors with 13 points and six assists. It was his second lowest scoring output of the season. Klay Thompson scored 13 points, Andrew Wiggins had 11 points and Chris Paul added nine points.
