South Florida New Large School Football Districts

     Broward County and Dade County will have new high school football districts for large schools in 2024 and 2025. Changes were made to FHSAA classifications and districts on December 12.  
     Class 7A will have three different districts in Region 4. District 14 consists of Marjory Stoneman Douglas, Coral Glades, Boca Raton and Spanish River. District 15 has Western, Cypress Bay, Taravella and Goleman while District 16 has Columbus, Miami Palmetto, Miami, South Dade and Coral Gables. 
     In Class 6A, there are four Region 4 districts in the bi-county area. District 13 will have Monarch, Coral Springs, Fort Lauderdale and Piper. South Plantation, Nova, Cooper City and South Broward are in District 14. District 15 lists Flanagan, West Broward, Miami Beach and Dr. Krop. District 16 consists of Homestead, Doral Academy, Southridge and Southwest Miami.  
     District 14 of Class 5A has a mix of Deerfield Beach, Blanche Ely and Coconut Creek along with Palm Beach County schools Atlantic and Forest Hill. The rest of Region 4 will have St. Thomas Aquinas, Boyd Anderson, McArthur and Hollywood Hills in District 15 while Miramar, Everglades, Pembroke Pines Charter, Mater Academy and North Miami are placed in District 16.
