Mark Pysyk Moves To Flames

     Former Florida Panthers defenseman Mark Pysyk has signed a one-year deal with the Calgary Flames worth $725,000. He was assigned to their American Hockey League affiliate the Calgary Wranglers. 

     Pysyk signed a professional tryout offer with the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins of the AHL in early November. He was released from his PTO by the club last week and became a free agent. 

     He was with the Panthers for four seasons from 2016-17 until 2019-20. Pysyk compiled 62 points in 292 games with the team.
