Miami Norland And Berkeley Prep Title Preview

     The Miami Norland Vikings clash with the Berkely Prep Buccaneeers for the FHSAA Class 2M state title on Saturday. The championship game will be played in Tallahassee on Ken Riley Field at Bragg Memorial Stadium, 
     Miami Norland(14-0) looks to win their first state championship since 2011. The undefeated Vikings have outscored their opponents 606-176 this season. They walloped St. Brendan 55-0 in the regional quarterfinal, moved by Monsignor Pace 52-27 in the regional semifinal, got by Miami Central in overtime 31-28 in the regional final and knocked off Bolles 28-7 in the state semifinal. 
     The Vikings will be led on offense by quarterback Ennio Yapoor. He is expected to look for wide receivers Isaiah Scott, Joaquin Reid, Jake Card, Ivory Aikens and Amare Lee down the field. Running backs Juan Rodriguez, Roger Adam and Marquise Blocker will get their rushing opportunities from the backfield. 
     Berkeley Prep(12-2) have outscored their opponents 414-194 this year. The Buccaneers blanked Middleton 21-0 in a regional quarterfinal, defeated Tampa Catholic 42-28 in a regional semifinal, edged Calvary Christian 31-27 in a regional final and upset American Heritage 17-14 in a state semifinal.
     Rico Garcia and Cooper Hayes can play quarterback for the Buccaneers. Wide receivers Dallas Golden, Tanner Dallmann and Josh Herrmann can make pass receptions downfield. Running backs Joseph Troupe, Golden, Jules Aurelien and Jacob Butler will have their share of carries.
