The Raiders captured a state-record 15th state championship. They have won eight state crowns in the past 10 years and 12 state titles in the last 17 seasons.
It was the third straight year that the Raiders eliminated the Broncos from the postseason. Homestead lost to them last year in the state finals and fell in the state semifinal back in 2021.

The Raiders increased it to 10-0 with 2:42 left in the first. Quarterback Andrew Indorf tossed a swing pass to running back Jordan Lyle on the right side for a 17-yard touchdown.
STA make it 17-0 with 32 seconds remaining in the second quarter. Lyle sprinted through the right side of the line and scored from two yards away.
Homestead(12-2) broke the shutout with 4:11 to go in the third quarter and they were down 17-7. Quarterback Joshua Townsend connected a 13-yard touchdown pass to running back Isaac Brown on the right side.
The Broncos would recover an on-side kick. It led to a Townsend two-yard pass to wide receiver Kevin Cascuda on the front right side of the end zone with 2:32 remaining in the quarter and they trailed 17-14.
The Raiders answered back with 1:33 left in the third. Indorf found wide receiver Julius Jones on the right hash marks for a 47-yard touchdown pass and gave them a 24-14 lead.
In the fourth quarter, Homestead struck again just 19 seconds into the frame. Townsend fired a 43-yard strike to Brown on the left side of the end zone and they were behind 24-21.
St. Thomas Aquinas expanded their lead to 31-21 with 5:25 left in the fourth. Wide receiver Andreus Madison caught a 69-yard touchdown pass on the left hash marks from Indorf.
