The Miami Heat paid back the Chicago Bulls 118-116 at Kaseya Center on Saturday night. Both teams faced each other on Thursday at the same venue with the Bulls victorious.
Miami(15-11) jumped to a 36-24 advantage at the end of the first quarter. Chicago(10-17) started the second quarter with a 22-13 spurt and trailed 58-57 at halftime.
The Heat made a 24-4 run at the conclusion of the third quarter and led a 91-80 lead. The Bulls back with a 24-13 spurt to tie it up 104-104 with 6:19 left in the fourth quarter. Jimmy Butler put in a 19-foot jump shot with no time remaining for the Heat to get the victory.
Butler guided Miami with a game-high 28 points. Kevin Love delivered 22 points from off the bench. Jaime Jaquez Jr. dropped in 18 points and Caleb Martin scored 17 points.
DeMar DeRozan had a team-high 27 points for the Bulls. Coby White added 22 points while Patrick Williams contributed 25 points.
