Miami Ratings December 2023

     The Miami/Fort Lauderdale area received their ratings for sports talk radio stations. The time span went from the second week of November until the first week of December. 
     AM 560 Sports WQAM-AM dropped from a 2.1 to a 1.2 in the period as they lost almost half of their audience since October. The University of Miami football team ended up with a 7-5 record during the regular season and were invited to a bowl game. The Miami Heat got on a seven-game winning streak and were victorious in nine of 10 contests. The University of Miami Hurricanes basketball team began their 2023-24 campaign in the Top 10 and had a 7-1 record. The Florida Panthers stayed near the top of the Atlantic Division with a 15-8-2 mark. 
     Fox Sports 940 WINZ-AM stayed at a 0.5 for the third straight month. The Miami Dolphins were ahead in the AFC East Division with a 9-3 record, which is their best record since 2001. The University of Florida Gators football team finished with a regular season record of 6-6 and were given a bowl game. 
     Fox Sports 640 South Florida WMEN-AM showed up in the Miami ratings for the fourth consecutive month as it went from a 0.4 to a 0.1 in the period. They have generated a wider audience area with the Florida Atlantic University basketball ranked in the Top 20 with a 7-2 record. 
     The WQAM stream was in the ratings again as they stayed at a 0.1. There is more of an audience with receiving the signal on electronic devices.
