Former local Miami television sportscaster Guy Rawlings has joined KTVT-TV and KTXA-TV in Dallas as a sports anchor/sports reporter. He was a news anchor at WGCL-TV in Atlanta from early January 2012 until November 2012. He also held the sports anchor position at WESH-TV in Orlando from 2007 until November 2011.
Rawlings, a University of Florida grad, was known in South Florida as a sports anchor at WTVJ-TV Channel 6 from 1997 to 2007. He replaced Karie Ross, wife of Detroit Tigers president/general manager Dave Dombrowski, in that position. Rawlings had previous stops as a sportscaster in Gainesville, Jacksonville, Charleston and Baltimore.
