The New York Cosmos topped Puerto Rico FC 4-1 in an NASL contest held at Central Broward Stadium in Fort Lauderdale on Wednesday. The game was rescheduled from Puerto Rico after the impact of Hurricane Maria on the island. The Fort Lauderdale Strikers did host games at that venue during the 2016 NASL Fall Season.
The Cosmos scored two goals in each half of the game. Puerto Rico FC finally got on the scoreboard during the 90th minute of play.
