Dolphins Move By Jets

     Cody Parkey kicked a 39-yard field goal with 26 seconds left in the game to give the Miami Dolphins a 31-28 victory over the New York Jets at Hard Rock Stadium on Sunday. It was the only field goal by either club in the contest. The Fins won their third consecutive game.
     Both teams exchanged touchdowns in the first half. New York(3-4) struck first at 13:01 of the first quarter as quarterback Josh McCown connected a 29-yard pass to wide receiver Jermaine Kearse. The Dolphins matched it on their next possession with a four-yard pass by quarterback Jay Cutler to wide receiver Jarvis Landry at the 10:50 mark. Wide receiver Robby Anderson caught an 18-yard touchdown pass from McCown for the Jets with 1:34 left in the first.
     In the second quarter, Miami(4-2) tied it 14-14 with 6:22 to go. Cutler found tight end Anthony Fasano from four yards away. New York regained the lead on a one-yard plunge by McCown with 2:00 remaining in the first half.
     The Jets got out to a 14-point margin with the only score of the third quarter at the 1:52 mark. McCown noticed wide receiver Austin Seferian-Jenkins in the back of the end zone from 10 yards out.
     The Fins pulled off a major comeback as they compiled 17 points during the fourth quarter. Matt Moore replaced an injured Cutler at the quarterback spot and fired a 28-yard touchdown pass to wide receiver Kenny Stills at 11:33
     Stills would later make another touchdown reception from Moore on the right side of the end zone from two yards away with 6:25 remaining in the fourth. Parkey nailed the game-winning score oh a 39-yard field goal with 26 seconds to go and a Dolphins 31-28 lead.
